To the Guitar Center sessions with Steve Morse and Dave Larue tonight? I hear it is moderated by Sterling Ball himself (Big Papa) and Steve Lukather just might be there as well hanging out!!! It is at the Orlando Florida location. I was at that store a few days ago and they had some killer Ernie ball guitars as well. They even had the 25ths.

The Adress is

Guitar Center 777
12402 South Orange Blossom Trail
Orlando, Florida 32837

I'm bringing the wife and kids to the one in Hollywood...(and possibly San Diego) Hopefully we'll be able to name-drop, and make it in. Capt. Don

My wife and I were there. We drove up from Davie Florida, which is about 4 hours south of Orlando.

The session was very interesting and there was an AWESOME jam of Hendrix's Little Wings. Each player took a solo -- including Big Papa!!! It was great!!!

There were also little side jams on different motifs around the conversations that took place. I found these to be cool and entertaining when mixed in with what was being said. The question and answer was cool also as it gave insight into the approaches each musician took to their instrument and musical creativity.

We got to meet each of the musicians. Everyone was down to earth and real, which I found to be very cool. Steve Morse had a lot of internal peace that shined through and is a really nice guy. Dave Larue is a friendly guy who makes you feel at home. Steve Lukather is one funny dude and full of pepper! John Ferraro has some great points from the drum's perspective and was also a friendly person.

Kim and I introduced ourselves to Big Papa and he turned out to have a great sense of humor. Kim reminded him of his "No pics, no wife" post on the forum and of course, the mischievous smile clicked on!!! :p We took a couple of pics with BP -- of course he insisted on taking a pic with Kim first!!!:D

Beaver Felton was also there. We had met BF earlier in the day when we made a stop at BassCentral. We also met Grasshopper and Mike over there. They are all great guys who are very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient (that is really an important one).

It was a real pleasure to meet everyone and we truly enjoyed the music as well as the conversations.

If you can make any of these, then definitely go.
