If anyone is interested in acquiring a "NOS" (New Old Stock) Axis Sport in lovely Blue Dawn with matching headstock let me know. It has the vintage tremolo and they told me it was $1100 with the EB/MM hard shell case.

I'm having trouble attaching the picture, when I can get it in there I'll let you know.

Hey Glenn,
Is this another one from Royal?? How many Blue Dawns did they have in stock? My Super Sport, your Sport and now another one?!?!

Damn, the motherload of Blue Dawn Axi...

I *know* I still need to get a picture of mine up. Although I mentioned this to Keith in a private email, I'm really pissed. After cleaning up the neck and restringing, I was tuning up and thought I had a problem with my TU-2 so I picked it up to check it out and as I was putting it back on the floor, nicked the corner of the guitar down around the input jack. It's just a little nick, but you can see the binding.

Any of the mods from EB know if I can get a bit of touchup paint to fill it in with?

Fred,

Bummer man!!!!!!!!! My Fuschia sparkle has a nick in it, but I still love it. You'll learn to deal with it as I have.

This Axis Sport is not from Royal, it's from another place I found of the web. Sometimes while working my computer does a lot of number crunching, so I surf to fill the time. I was on a tear for a Blue Dawn guitar and the Axes were the only ones that I could find.

Royal had a couple of BD Axes, you got the Super Sport and I got an Axis Sport I think that there is one more Axis or Axis Sport.
