If you did that, chances are you wouldn't be able to return it 'cause you'd love it too much! :D

na ... i did place the first order but my dealer says my expected ship date is feb 25-ish :(

so i probably not gonna be first.

if i woulda known i wouldnt've palce an order and would just crusied to a GC

But...you play Sterlings, and so far it seems GC just has Sapphire Black Stringray 4 HH's and Honey Burst Stingray 5 HH's. So even if you cruised to GC, its seems right now you would not find a dual pickup Sterling, let alone a SC/H model in Medallion Gold. So cheer up and be happy that you are in the position to be waiting for 2, count 'em, 2 dual pickup sterlings! I mean you could be waiting for a Lefty Bongo.;)

oh im not mad or anything ... i figured that certain configs would run at certain times and, like u sed, the HS sterling is probably not the first config to hit the prod line. so no worries ... but the GAS got me again and i bought a ____ this morning.

well, i've been listening to the Stray Cats way too much lately and I got a raise and an xmas bonus ... so, I went to my local shop and grabbed a Setzer hot rod :)

No such thing as "too much Stray Cats"! Brian Setzer is one of my 3 favourite guitarsits of all time:)
What color did you get?

And shouldn't you have gotten a double bass w/ flames?
