I can ask the other question: Why not :p ?

in fact it is low demand on this color, but still there are dealers with stock so you can ask them if you want one and you can get the list of dealers that have stock from EBMM

The funny thing is that once they get discontinued the demand is rising :p
An awesome marketing move from EB is to temporarily bring back discontinued finishes from time to time when they notice the demand is up(perhaps make a poll on the forums to see?), then remove the finish once again after X amount of time :)

Exactly, so discontinuing a finish, building up demand from all knuckleheads, temp release it which will make all knuckleheads get it, then discontinue it again would be a pretty smart move. A lot of knuckleheads would buy them at least!

It's a shame that Amethyst Burst & Tobacco Burst got canned.
But Tobacco Burst is still available on the Axis.

Amethyst is such an awesome finish! One day it will be mine.

2 of my favorite BFR themes gone.
The tobacco and emerald.

I don't own a BFR, but if I were to get one, those would've likely been the colors.

I understand why it was discontinued, BP explained it in a thread a while back. I don't understand why it's still available on regular models though, unless the BFR Tobacco Burst was slightly different than the Tobacco Burst on standard models. I'm sure EB has its reasons though.

I must admit I am sad to see the emerald gone. I had to go with koa instead of emerald though, so it worked out for me in the end.
