Does anyone know what the neck pup is based off of? I think I have just become a medium out put pup kind of guy. Darker less compressed less gain is what I think I am into. I have the AT1 in my ss so I know I love it already.

Hey Otto, I believe the neck pickup is closest to an Air Norton I believe. Also, if you like medium output pickups and you like the AT1 of course, check out Suhr's SSV or SSV+. If you want it darker there is the DSV or DSV+. Look for Pete Thorn demoing a Suhr SL68 on youtube. I wont post a link as there is no EBMM involved, but that bridge pickup sounds amazing (SSV)!

This is also the reason I dont play my Axis SS that much. I have not got around to changing the pickups. People seem to love them alot and there is a cult like following with these pickups but there are a few who do not. Mine are direct mounted so no adjusting lower for me.

Colon I don't think I will be selling it. If I had to sell this guitar one day who ever bought it would want that bridge pup in there.
