please contact customer service...I have been very patient....read the faqs and rules of the road...this is a forum to talk about our love for these instruments...I have several well paid people to help you. It is not your neck joint though...you are beating a dead horse...trust me I know one of the designers!

Ill call but Ill bet you the JP that its the neck joint. Im absolutely sure of it.

To prove my point. I dove the bar and lifted the strings off one by one (EAD I moved to one side of the neck and the GBE to the other side) And I pushed on the neck and it still ticked.

Ill call them tomarrow.

It sounds like a loose truss rod...But I will bet you anything that it isnt your neck joint Ill even give you odds....Of course I have zero experience in 30 years of the stuff.......bring on the wager!

No I win actually. I took it to my tech today and he tightened the screws more and the tic is gone. It was the neck joint. I know what Im talking about! I just didnt want to overtighten the screws.

So I accept cash check or EB guitars..........

holy **** !!!! i never heard of that one before !!!!!
that sucks. that means that if the screws were that loose.......then when they were tightened up....the neck angle had to change...& yer action & set up went way outa wack. yer action would of had to get alot higher.....
i'm glad yer fixed up. now hopefully this thread can be put out of it's misery....

well, easy fix and everybody's happy. just goes to show you- don't be afraid to mess with your guitar ... learn how to tweek everything just right
