Sitting with my lovely wife today at lunch. She looks at me and says..."Did you call that guy about the guitar?" I told "Nope, forgot to." Wife says "You better or it might not be there!"

Soooooooooooooooo......I just got off the phone with a certain 6 finger dealer and put some $$$ down on a new guitar.

This has been a very very long time coming for me. With the past divorce killing me, getting myself back on track, some tough love from Big Poppa, to meeting and marrying my new wife Rubi. I could not be happier in my life at this moment even if I did not get this guitar. It just makes it that much sweeter!

Now....the guessing game begins. Pete...you can't play or Nick for that matter either. Should be an easy one for you knuckleheads!

Congratulations all the way around. Glad to hear things are going well for you with the new wife. Makes me consider getting a new one myself. Hey, my wife is 36. That means I should be able to trade her in for two, eighteen year olds.:D

So, how's the inventory at Alpha Music? Used to go there all the time when I lived there. Kind of miss the area after being back in Illinois for 14 years.

Congratulations Koogs,

Ok, I'm gonna try and go at this logically (or as logically as I can with the drugs I'm on)

Koogs' wife references guitar but then so does koogs, so I think if it were a bass koogs would have referenced it as such in the later sentence.

Koogs refernces putting money down on a guitar, not just buying it from Pete, which takes Pete's current inventory out of the picture. Plus AJ interjects a thought with smile which would seem to be a new order as he would not be involved in selling Pete's current inventory.

So its a new guitar order for something other than what Pete has in inventory, which probaly would have been too soon to update at the time I looked.

And since I see koogie as a two humbucker guy and it being too early for an HH AL and too late for a new order 25th

I vote Gold Roller

But then again sometimes logic sucks and I am often wrong (just ask my wife)
:)

Hey Koogs,

Congrats, man!! I'm glad things are working out for ya.

Since you posted on the guitar side, I'm going to say you put money down on a 6 stringer. So, I'm gonna guess you're getting a 25th.:)

No on the flame SR Pops....could not swing that one as much as I really wanted to at the time. Just was not in the cards and I am okay with that. I just hope it finds a great home within our forum family.

No Gold Roller....as cool as that guitar looks...Silo necks are not for me. Still a great axe though and I think it is very sexy.

AJ...curious to what you thought.

No AL....and I really really like the AL. It is on the list.

No bass....not this time. But, I am getting a tad ancy to pluck a 5 banger. Depends on how Warhammer likes that idea...;)

nobozos...long time my friend. Alpha is not as good as it used to be sad to say. I prefer my local GC as they have better inventory and what not.

izzy...yes she does. She is also married. Sorry buddy.

It was guessed by Glen. I have always been a JP guy and I took a JP DD II no piezo. Funny thing...I just don't like green guitars. However....this one with the changing colors is pure eye candy. The ebony board was a big kicker as well. Probably more so as I was looking for an ebony board guitar. So, I figured I would get in on this and get it. I might be late to the party...but...I am at the party. :D

Marriage, welcome to the confusing addiction!

My wife would never remind me about getting a new guitar. Although, she does remind me everyday about how many guitars I currently own...

Congrats on an awesome wife and your new Ball!

Congrats Koogs !

I thank my wife every time I go to rehearsal (twice a week) and for all the nights I spend outside playing Rock&Roll ...
