Why no custom chop finishes?!

I was browsing over the PRS Guitars website and realized they have the most beautiful finishes I've ever seen. Finishes like Blue Matteo, Black Cherry, Whale Blue, and a bunch more. Look at http://www.prsguitars.com/color/blue_matteo.htm and tell me that is not the most beautiful finish you've ever seen. I'd be more than willing to pay $500+ more for a Stingray with a quilted maple top with one of these exotic finishes. Any chance EB will ever add these options?

The 20th anniversay bass was a maple top Music Man bass in Natural. That was a limited run from 1996. It could be possible that we would sometime again offer a maple top version for a limited run, but for now we have no plans.

Finishes on instruments are personal things - believe me, I've had a few that were/are unpopular.

I like the EBMM finishes. I don't want my Stingrays to look like those quilt top Laklands (even if I might own one). I like my Stingrays to look like, well, basses you PLAY.

Of course, if you guys ever offer something with flames, I'm in. Because flames are cool.
