Bridge should be no problem, I'm more worried about the neck being to tall when compared to the air Norton or liquifire. Anyone have any experience? I have a great tech I take my guitars to but I would prefer not to have any wood taken out (though I'm not against it).

F-spacing pickups would not require any wood being removed. No problem there.

Evo1 should be a pretty awesome pickup for the bridge position. Especially when it comes to soloing on the bridge position. Using it for heavy riffs should be no problem either. The CrunchLab has definitely a different voicing. Less 'sharp-edges', favouring mid and bass frequencies. Totally up to you which you like best. The DiMarzio website gives a pretty accurate description of all sizes (EQ, DC Resistance, material) that matter when it comes to pickups.

I, use the Evo1 along with the Paf-Pro (neck) in an Ibanez, and the pair works real good.

PS: Might also want to consider to Evo2 (bridge) along with the Evolution (neck).
