Will my EBMM Axis Tribute fade over time?

Hello,

I've read that on the EVH models, EBMM used a dye that was subject to extreme fading. I've read that this also may be somewhat true for subsequent Axis releases. I'm wondering if this current hand-stained Axis Tribute run will be subject to the same results...I sure hope not, my pink axis tribute is so pretty right now...

Well on one hand no I hope it doesn't fade - but on the other the faded ones look cool. Where I play - there's no chance of daylight hitting it!!

Everything fades in the sun, dont leave it in the sun. The Eddies didnt have any UV block put in the Dye and thats why they faded. The purple ones faded the worst. Rule one, put your guitars away when your not playing them!!! No problem.

I love the slighly faded look of my red EVH turning to a very nice raspberry color

I would imagine that the new tributes have the UV blocker in them.

Rule one, put your guitars away when your not playing them!!! No problem.

My 90s axis hangs on the wall with the dye facing the wall. Works for me.

Are you implying that "sparkle" guitars aren't in demand there?!

Keep them out of the sun for long periods of time! That will be a safe bet!

We did put a UV blocker on the Tributes to help with the fading....
