Now that's a little more out right scamish... still not exactly asking EVH type prices. Looks like he's just wanting to recoup the finish and trem costs....

Selling for a down payment on a house?!?!?!? Must be a very tiny house. I never liked the stripped Eddy Van Halen guitars.....simply put...UGLY!

Yeah but Koog its not even a real one, he painted over an OLP guitar...why would someone do this...then put Ernie Ball :confused:

He does come out and say that it is an OLP BUT can there be any legal ramifications for unauthorized reproduction of the Ernie Ball or Eddie Van Halen signature? I'm no lawyer but me thinks he could get introuble for that if someone pressed it. My prediction: Nobody goes near it w/a 10 ft. pool.

As long as he's not trying to make a business out of it, he should be fine.... But, who knows his intentions.

Yes but you have to admit, why falsify the headstock...was he trying at an earlier date to pass it off as an EBMM...why not just leave the headstock blank, I see it all the time

Simply put...to sell a $200 guitar for more money. No other reason. Dork. Not you Raz...the seller....hehehehe :cool:

I like how he sanded the back of the headstock to erase the wording that says
the OLP MM Electric models are officially licensed by ErnieBall Music Man USA. Very slick!
