Will the 'silent circuit' adapt to new pups when changing stock single coils?

Say I wanted to change the single coils in my silo special. Could I uitilize the silent circuit to make the new pickups 'silent'?

Yes. Though, how much noise it will reduce depends on the characteristics of the replacements.

In general it works pretty well. I've got one in most of my guitars, it's also handy for things like coil-splits where you want to reduce hum.

BTW, the silent circuit does have an adjustment pot, so you can dial in the optimum amount. It does not eliminate all the hum but it does it reduce some of it quite effectively.
