I have a Blueberry Burst JP15. It has both a mono and stereo output jacks. I tried plugging my new Line 6 G10 wireless into the mono jack today and couldn't get any signal. It works in the stereo jack. This seems strange. The mono jack works fine with a cable. The G10 works fine in all my other guitars that just have a mono jack. Anyone have an idea on why I can't get the G10 to work in the mono jack of the JP15?

Hey Drew, I have the G10 doesn't work in my wife's Taylor acoustic/electric. I takes a battery also which I assumed was the reason.

Another question, I have a JP15 on order, but am having second thoughts. I am concerned about the 17" radius since I play a lot of chords and some solos, but am not a shredder. Can you tell me your experience in playing barre chords or play some and let me know if they are easy to play on the JP 15.

Thanks Drew.

Vic, my advice would be to not cancel your order. I play lead in a four piece band, guitar keyboard bass drums. So I switch between lead and rhythm constantly. Prior to getting the JP15, I was starting to get hand cramps when doing too many barre chords. I have lots of guitars with neck profiles from beefy to medium. I'm not a shredder and I didn't have a thin neck. The JP15 is the smallest neck by far and I was a bit taken back by it at first. But I took to it right away and now love thin necks. I'm finding I'm playing faster and having less trouble with cramping on the JP15. It's a great guitar, and with the boost and piezo, really covers a lot of territory. The flat radius doesn't cause me any problems.

Drew, thanks, that was just info that I needed to feel more comfortable. Now I am definitely looking forward to getting the guitar.

Hi Drew, got the JP15 today. What a fabulous guitar...so well-made and light. No problem playing barre chords or anything else for that matter.

With regard to the Line6 G10...mine doesn't work at all in the mono output, but does work for magnetic only in the stereo output, but not for piezo pickups. I am currently using a regular mono 1/4" cable in the stereo output which gives me both magnetic and piezo. Have you found out anything more about the G10 and JP15? I wonder if the more expensive Line6 wireless systems would give a different result. I sort of doubt it.

G10

Drew, just had a thought after reading about the outputs for each of the pickups (mag and piezo). I wonder if I use a stereo to mono adapter on the G10 if I will get output from both pickups. I will look into it and let you know. Although I am not real keen on having a long adapter with G10 sticking out of the guitar.

Drew, if you use a stereo to mono adapter in the mono output jack, the G10 will work great.

I'll have to try that. I've just been plugging the G10 into the stereo out and it seems to work fine. Thanks Vic.
