16 ohms or 4 ohms?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hello i have 1 create cabinet at 4 ohms, And my behringer cabinet is at 16 ohms mono now should i have both at same ohms for beter sound?

My create is mono cabinet and behringer can be mono or stero if im running 2 cabinets that will act as stero so i dont need to use the stero on behringer right?

also if they do need to be the same ohms were can i get info on wiring?

my power amp says 4 ohms min its a mos valve mv962 has 4 cabinet outputs, what is the best ohms for heavy metal?

If you are using both cabinets to run with a stereo amp the important thing is to have the resistances match. Let's assume that is the case. Do NOT go lower than the minimum resistance for your amp. I watched a friend kill 3 Marshall heads doing that. What I would do is:
1)Leave the crate alone
2) Rewire the Bear to be 4 ohms mono

If you tell me more information about the Bear (How many speakers, resistance per speaker) We can figure out how to rewire it. (it's easy) Generally less resistance means louder. For heavy metal sometimes that is a desirable trait.
