I just got my sterling at GC about a month ago... paid full price for it... not until I got home and found the forum did I realize I paid full price for a 2005 sterling in 2009. In the end I love my bass so much that I would do it again... as I am a MM lifer now :)

When I got my Sub5 back in 2003, they used to have more MM basses, but now its 20/1 prolly fenders to any other brand.

Our store needs a little TLC too... as of last week our store has 1 HS sterling missing the bass knob and a Stingray H, and in the used section a used 30th, had I had the funds, I would have walked out with my sterling and the 30th :D

lets keep the individual grind off the forum he gave you his contact info call him please...

You know Guitar Center has a 30 day return policy if anyone is unhappy for any reason including paying retail

BP, I followed your advice and called him. He is trying hard! I asked him to order in a bunch of musicman basses, so please send him some big als and some bongos! And I am going back this week and take another look at that stingray 5.

All of this EBMM activity reminds me of how Apple became the number one distributor of online music (that you pay for), when the economy took the dump in 00-01-02

Good things ahead I think...great for us that's for damn sure.
