Just got back from the DT show in Dallas at Nokia Theater (really like the venue).
All in all, it was a really good show. I did the meet-n-greet thing, which is always fun. USUALLY it's a lot more 'personal' but the ticketing company effed up and sold 90! tickets instead of the normal MAX of 30! So yeah, they barely had time to get us through. So it was all greet and no meet this time lol.

Regardless, it was still worth it. John always remembers me now (probably thinks I'm a freakin' stalker) which is cool I guess.
This is a crappy camera pic so excuse the quality. I took it right after they signed it, I was letting the ink dry. He commented that it was the first BFR he'd seen other than his own.
I'm going to cover it with clear film like they use for paint protection on cars. It's very pliable and won't damage the finish ever. I've got it on my car and had piece replaced due to rock chips or whatnot, and there was ZERO finish damage. We all know cars scratch if you breathe on them, so if it worked for that it should work fine for this.
I'm going to pull all the control covers off, cover the entire back, then just trim off the excess.
