Silly question time. I just bought some wonder wipes and am wondering about the correct usage. Do you rub onto the fretboard , let set for a few minutes, and wipe off the excess or just quickly wipe and let dry?

Also, is there any alcohol or drying agents in the formula?

Thanks,

RS

If it's a maple fretboard, definitely wipe the excess. If it's rosewood, I've always just let it dry.

I don't have a maple board bass...... yet, my Sterling will be maple, but for my Rosewood Stingrays, I always do the fretboard conditioner everytime I change strings. I take the strings off, and use the wipes to evenly apply the conditioner, and then I lay the bass in its case, with the case open, or sit the bass in a stand and let it air dry, after 20 or 30 minutes, I put the new strings on, good to go.
