I don't know. Did he take a silo and rebuild it, or is it a hand built guitar that uses Music Man hardware? Ir it is a modified EBMM that is probably OK, but if it is not, then it is infringing. I will e-mail the seller and ask.

Folks - looks like he just put a new top and cap on an existing EBMM instrument. And if we're a bettin' thats where I'll lay my chips. ;)

I tend to agree, which is not infringement. I did that with a Jackson Soloist once. Eerie Dess to Flame Maple top tobacco sunburst.

Dudes!

Sub 1's are AWESOME. Ain't no doubt about it. I was playing my blue Al this afternoon, and have been playing it exclusively for about a week. But I switched off to my SSS Silo Spec Guarded Sub 1 and WOWWWZAA!! I do like it alot better than my Al. Seems big and bold comparitively. Same sounds, just bigger and bolder. OH no! Now what?

I told the guy with the homemade KOA sub he should look at the real thing, the BFR's and he said:

"I have seen the BFR koa tops and to be honest I am not too impressed with the tops."

So I told him "give me your address I am going to send you a t-shirt."

I am sending him a "THAT TOP SUCKS" BFR shirt.

Maybe that will turn him around. :)

Hey, I'm not impressed either... :D

The seller told me he wants to keep this modified sub, so he priced it a little high...

Sounds like a nice guy and I'll bet he lieks the shirt.
