So, I am a jazz guitar player and I've really dig EB strings, but none of yours have a proper jazz setups, with a 3rd wound string. Will there ever be a day when EB makes such a set? Or will I have to forage for singles?

Cheers, justin

Part P02206 Medium Light Electric Nickel Wound .012 - .054 w/ wound G

Wound strings are made from nickel plated steel wire wrapped around tin plated hex shaped steel core wire. Produces well balanced all around good sound. Plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel. This set has a wound 3rd (or G string) sometimes referred to as a jazz set.

Enjoy! :D

Different strokes for different folks, but history teach us that the very Ernie Ball struggled into a long term debate with Leo Fender in order to convince him to change his string sets so that they would include a plain 3rd string and that once he resigned to the idea that Leo wouldn't barge, he had to start making those strings himself, hence the beginning of a new era and a new company in what Ernie Ball Inc. is today?? I ask you members of the jury... is that not a conundrum? And now the defendent wants to reverse that very process?

"shakes his head" :D

cool by me anyway but I still find it strange.
