Looking for a friend and I know a lot of you guys....so I was hoping for one with some history. Just a solid bass as I am vouching for it. He wants a 4 string and I have checked eBay. The guy selling the black 4 string won't divulge weight. I email 3 times and I get a run around so....next. As well the budget rules out a new one. I am not in a hurry really....I'll check back in. Thanks for the quick responses.

Larry's right, I'd be happy to keep a keen eye on the market and see what I can find for you, I've had success in the past.

One of the biggest differences between the two models you are looking for would be the neck size, does your bass player prefer a thin or thick neck? Let me know.

The guy with this Black Stingray on Ebay says it weighs 8.5 - 9 lbs. How accurate that is, I don't know.

I've been looking everyday, I think that black SR4 was one he passed on once before so I didn't bring it up.

There will be one come along, they always do, and usually when I'm broke. I'm still watching fo ya.
