a very dear & longtime good friend of mine (john lee cooper) works at guitar center in the manhatan artist relations dept. he sent me an x2 rackmountable wireless last week. i tried it out thursday w/ my acoustic gig . it worked VERY well !!!!!! . no noise.....tons of headroom ........and the tone was very transparent and natural.
the acid test that no wireless has ever passed for me is live w/ my balls & the 5 tons of gain i "sometimes" use on my guytron amp. it sounded great !!!!!! no compression on my clean tones .........no static or microphonic noises introduced during high gain use . i was VERY IMPRESSED. i'm thinkin i might have to keep it !!!!!!
it's digital.....& uses no compression/ expansion tricks. full dynamic range......& full bandwith response.
it was really very useful & alot of fun to be hassle free wireless !!!!!

I have used an X2 (and tried everything else as well). There really is no comparison - these things are amazing!

I'm in the "wireless" market as we speak - thanks for the unbiased reportTD. That's the thing about wireless, it's not like you want to own more than one!! You'd like to hit it right the first time!
