Y2D: close but no cigar...

Hi guys,

vacation finaly started so I'm off the working hook for the rest of the year. Since I didn't have to work today, I placed a call to the store where I ordered my Y2D and they had good and bad news for me.

The good news: my Y2D is sitting in its hardshell case in a nice cardboard box at the importer in the Netherlands . The bad news: they are also off the working hook for this year so the guitar will not get sent to the music store in Belgium before this year ends

Well, it is what it is. Although it would have been a nice closure of this year, it will become a nice start of the next year. Furthermore, the shop owner gave me some pricing on a few other EBMM models I'm lurking on, and I probably will order another one before this year ends . That will make three EBMM in one year, yep, GAS is striking hard.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you, especially to the Ball family and factory people for the extremely nice Open House and the most splendid instruments on the face of this planet. For those who already have their hands on their Y2D's: strum a few chords for me.

I feel your pain Tom. I thought my new rosewood would have been delivered in time to have it under the tree, but I guess Santa will just have to make another trip. I'll just think of it as Second Christmas .

On a more philosophical note for this season, I am truly lucky and blessed with family, friends and loved ones. I can handle waiting a few more days for another guitar.
