Well,
I have to say the Y2D has absolutely blown me away. I do like my Petrucci but personally for me nothing compares to the Y2D from a playing and tone perspective. The absolute amazing versatility of this guitar and the 5 pickup positions has done it for me. Want a good solid metal tone and burning lead sound with pinch harmonics out the butt .. position 1. Want a nice bluesy strat sound .. middle position. Want a beatiful clean with some nice bottom end position 4. How about a nice singing lead sound .. position 5. The neck feels amazing too me and for some reason its much easier to acomplish fast arpeggio picking. Is steve morse's soul imbedded in this thing?
Well Im already thinking about buying another one and ebaying the petrucci. This just fits me so well. Tobacco Burst has my eye
