I'm a new member & I'm just about ready to order my first SM Y2D with Standard Bridge & Quilt Maple Top but I can't find enough good clear pictures. If you have them, could someone post pics of Y2D Purple Sunset & Tobaccoburst with Matching Headstock.

Thanks,
Ron

Ron, use the Search function they were just posted recently.

Also, if you post your location in your user information maybe someone (aka a dealer) near you might be able to help you out as well.

welcome!
Give us some informations. why the Y2D? Why not the "oldstyle" morse. Both are good choices, but maybe you like to tell us?
I´ve also bought recently my first ball, and itßs an old morse. I love it!!!

Thanks for the welcome, this is a great forum. Honestly, I haven't played an original Morse but I don't think I'd work well with the pickup/toggle choices.......too many choices! Also, I'm drawn to the Y2D because of what I read about the neck being designed from the specs of his well-worn original neck. Maybe I should play both before finally deciding.

Thanks,
Ron

well, as discussed in other threads. the neck of the "old" morses, which where built after the launch of the Y2D, have also the "specs of his well-worn original neck". The argument with the toggles is understandable. On the other hand, I don´t want to miss the second SC. He gives great sounds! You get used to the weird toggling and wiring by the time. It´s just a matter of practic.

Thanks to all for your pics, comments & suggestions. I found a store in Edison NJ that has both the Standard and Y2D models I can play so I'm checking them out tomorrow. Hopefully, the next time I post I'll be an owner (or at least have one ordered).

Thanks,
Ron
