Hi everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster, etc...

I just wanted to share my excitement. Today I ordered a Morse Y2D (Floyd model) in Purple Sunset, and I CAN"T WAIT!!

I hope this isn't old news, but I also wanted to share some info I learned the other day. I was surfing the Musician's Friend site, and noticed they offer 6 different variations of the Y2D, which was a little confusing. I called EBMM (spoke to a really nice rep) and got the skinny on the 6 different models.

Here's the breakdown:

-Standard bridge- nice figured top ( random quilt or flame top)
-Floyd bridge- nice figured top ( random quilt or flame top)

-Standard bridge- highly figured Flame Maple top
-Standard bridge- highly figured Quilt Maple top

-Floyd bridge- highly figured Flame Maple top
-Floyd bridge- highly figured Quilt Maple

So there you go.

Also, it looks like some EBMM employees reside here. I just wanted to take a minute to let you guys know you make the best guitars on the planet! Nothing beats an EBMM for playability and craftmanship. I just sold my PRS prototype to fund this purchase, and this will be my 5th EBMM guitar. Keep up the good work!

Okay, rant over.

Now the vigilant wait for the Y2D begins....pray for me. ;)

My guitars:
EBMM Axis- Pacific Blue Burst
Axis Super Sport- Honey Burst
JP w/piezo- Pearl Redburst
Sub 1- Cinnamon

Okay...here's a few of my babies

Okay...here's some of the collection. I forgot to list the Redburst Axis, so the Y2d will make 6 EBMM's.

All of these pics were all taken the very first day I got them, but they still look as good today! ;)

I still gotta take some pics of the Morse and the Sub 1. More on the way...

Tommy,
I've noticed this trend.
Are you a short little green guy in a cloak with 3 toes on each foot, about 800 years old?

Please take the time to list your guitars on the serial number page for your protection. Welcome.
I have a y2d on order too but if you have lurked here you know that I am the biggest Steve Morse fan there is. (I'm 9 feet tall ;) ) Oh, I can even play that stuff too.
