Well,

I bought a PDN Y2D guitar, and the chance has presented to me to buy a regular Y2D.

I´ve had a regular Y2D before, and I know it is killer, but my question is towards if there should be any tonal differences between both models.

I know the body wood is different, and so the fretboard...so technically speaking there should be 2 different beasts, but always good to know what another knowledgeable knuckleheads think about this.

My other choice right now is to score a 20th Silho...

I let the Axis pass for now.

Thanks everyone!
Gus

It's hard to say, since most of us haven't played a PDN Y2D. I'm very interested to hear how it sounds.

From my experience with playing some of these tone wood combinations, the PDN guitars will have a fat tone with a very tight attack due to the roasted maple neck.
