I just saw my grades for my first semester at Berklee.. and I could not be more pleased!
This is a huge deal for me! I did poorly all throughout High School due to MANY reasons and there was a key person in my life that had zero faith in me.. and here I am doing well in the only college that I wanted to go to since I was 12 years old. Hell, this is the ONLY school I applied to!
I guess it just feels good to know that I'm capable of doing well in a structured environment.. even when the odds of me succeeding have been against me. I've seen a lot of crap for the extremely short time I've been on this earth, and I praise God for blessing me with the ability to get through it and carry on.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you all.
I know you guys don't know me that well, but I seriously feel at home talking to everyone on here and reading what everyone has to say.. and I appreciate all of you very much.
My Petrucci just arrived from getting some lovin' in San Luis Obispo and she's waiting for me to get back home to play her(I've been in Alabama for the past few days)... I'm so excited!
