The mixing is finally finished and I'm getting antsy for a mastered copy. Hopefully we will have it done by the end of March. I exclusively used my MusicMan guitars on this album (mostly one JP or another), and the bass player used his 20th Anniversary SR5 for all but one song (needed a fretless). Jay used his Dargie Silo Special on a few songs, too.
For those of you toeing the line about getting into the studio, I SAY DO IT! It can be as beneficial as playing a gig, there is so much to be learned about how all the parts interact with one another.
Here is some footage taken during final mixing, with an updated vid of Second Son below. The studio footage is a little boomy, I haven't figured out the new camera yet.

Is it a coincidence that the album title Dead Man's Cigarettes has the same initials as DuBaldo Music Center?
This weekend I should have some work in progress shots of my new axe...
