That was the cab from the house rig. They backlined the whole show but let us use our own heads, so that's my GK 1001RBII on top.The cab was a Megoliath and much to my surprise it sucked....real bad. I don't know if the speakers were blown or it just couldn't handle lows very well but it was farting out bad. I had the bass flat on my amp and on my SR5 and it was just completely crapping out.I was tuned CGCF but it should it least be able to handle a low B right?Anyways like Luke said at the OH you just have to play through it sometimes and so I did..............

Hey, I like your choice in heads. I'll be ordering a 1001RB-II in a few short weeks. I don't think you can beat an EBMM + GK combo. It would shake my boots if I wore them. I guess shaking my sandals puts enough emphasis. :D

Nice going, Randy!

Mine's now laundered and sitting on the shelf, asking how I plan to use it.

I think rehearsal tomorrow night.

But House of Blues? You kicked our @sses, man.

Luke says that 'cause he can get Steve Morse and Dudley Gimpel to go 'Butts Up' when his stuff craps out. :D

No BS - Steve and Dudley trying to fix Luke's stuff.

I know it's wrong but I couldn't resist. I was pretty "Luke'd" at the open house show..... :D

Cool shot, Randy! I'll have to take a look at the 1001RB-II as a potential mate for my Henry the 8th.

Got my G.A.S. Camp shirt hanging on the wall of my studio, and my Factory Tour pass hanging on my rear-view mirror.

I think the 700RBII would be an even better match for the Henry with the 700RB II putting out 460watts @4 ohms and the Henry being able to handle 480 watts.I think the 700 watts from the 1001RBII might make those 8 inch speakers come right through the grill  I used the old 1001RB(540 watts) with a Henry and it was more than enough.

The gig tells the story way before an Inernet post will.

Good show Randy.

Duly noted. What was your take on the bottom-end of the Henry w/o a 15" b/u cab?

I got Aussie Mark's input on another thread, but want as much input from other F'mites (who've actually used an H8) as possible.

The Henry has a lot of low end by itself. I know you don't play a fiver but it handles the low b very well.I really should be telling you about GK cabs though(since i'm in their artist program).I love my GK NEO 2x12 cabs :D The Henry is probably one of the best cabs SWR makes though.I'm still waiting for the rest of the H.O.B. pictures :(

Good to know. The H8 wasn't particularly what I was looking for, but at $300 used, and for SWR's cab rep, I just couldn't pass on the deal.
