Those who know me know that I have come full circle now. I think I have finally settled in on the bass that is right for me after going though most of the EBMM stable (excluding the Bongo )

Thanks everyone! What surprised me is how different the basses sound. Ok, the Slinkies on the 25th are still fresh and have a lot of zing in them but the sound palette these two basses provide is pretty wide and there is little overlap. The best part is switching between the two feels natural. No brain adjustments necessary which of course was my goal

You could try a Bongo H first. Doesn't do that much damage like a Bongo 5 HH.
