Hi HI!
SOOOOOO.....more updates!!
Life is good. insane, but good.
I'm practically selling organs to remain in the UK and keep taking private lessons off Phil Mann so I can be in decent shape for applying for the EBMM scholarship to ICMP (institute of contemporary music performance) here in London. That all sounds so simple in theory, to those who have never applied for visas.
In my private lessons we have been covering alot. Phil always buries me with homework which is great, and last lesson I learnt Stevie Wonder's "I wish", freaking love James Jamerson, been working on "I do I do" aswell....next stop ..."Sir Duke" haa haa haa!
Fun stuff that has been going on....
I've been playing kids with Hillsong and we had our conference at the Excel Centre and I got to play with some of the most amazing musos, guys who are ALOT better than me. our drummer is a genius and has apparently been in drum magazines etc. he told me we had so jam sometime!! So encouraging, so cool.
Before conference we had our 10th Anniversary in the O2 arena! 10,000 people came and 5000 had to be turned away
.... again I was playing for kids and we got to play in the VIP room woo!
Here are a few pics...I look reeeeeally bad in the band one. terrible. I was actually smiling the rest of the time. bloody photographers.
PLAYING THE O2!!!! very excited. even if its for under 12s lol!
druggo picture.
our audience... cute aren't they.
Anyway, none of the amazing opportunities would have been possible if it wasn't for EBMM's, Poppa's and especially Pete's (Blind Lemon) generosity. I cannot thank you guys enough. Hopefully I can make you all proud and get this scholarship.
