Is it just me or has anybody else noticed that Yngwie still has big poofy hair, leather pants and fluffy shirts. Aside from being a little fatter he doesn't look any different than the way he looked in 1984.

It was me that said before I was going. Unless you heard (read) that someone else is goign as well. Most of the concerts I end up going to are actually at BB Kings. It's nice place, but ONCE again I will bring up that the managment are bunch of mafia bastards that dont really much care for the music there. It's called BB Kings, but it is not his club AT ALL which is pretty funny. Anyway, maybe I'll see you guys there.

I saw Yngwie at the G3 concert. Who knows with that guy, either you are really amused by his over the top clothes, attitude , music and really enjoy it or you are turned off.

I was laughing as if I was watching the Spinal Tap movie, I liked his bizarre perfomance.

I really don't know what to think of the guy , if he is doing some sort of parody of a rock star he is funny, if he is serious , then he is scary.

I have seen Yngwie twice now, he is awesome live, loads of energy and stage presence. I really enjoy listening to his earlier albums, anything before Seventh Sign is fine by me.

Cool, man! Congrats!

Let me first say that I think Yngwie is an amazing player, and his technique is second to none.

Now that I've said that, I don't think I can ever stand watching (actually, hearing is the word I should use) one of his concerts again. I saw him headlining in a club in Montréal in 1992, and my ears are still bleeding... He played so freaking loud and his tone was just like an ice pick - at least after the first hour. It's the first and only time I was looking forward for a concert to end.

I saw him open for Dio the year before at the Forum, and it was much better. The volume and duration od the show were much more manageable.

I'm proud to say that I was able to catch his show at least once, though :)

Amen to that, Dan.

I saw Yngwie live right before "Marching Out" was released. (Billy Sheehan's band TALAS was the opening act!).

The room was a tiny, tiny venue.. I've been in larger basement gamerooms! Yngwie used 3 full stacks in that room.

My ears were ringing for 3 straight days. I've never been to a louder concert or had such ringing before or since.

Now that's a smart move! If I only save one person's hearing, my life has meaning :)

Yea man thanx for letting us know. I mean I kinda knew that it was going to be extremely loud anyway just knowing how Malmsteen is. I will definatly bring ear plugs and let my friends know as well, that is if those bums are coming with me  . I REALLY dont want to lose my hearing because I am far too young. I still want to be able to play my OWN music very loud for other people to go deaf to :D . PLus I HATE that ringing crap in the ears, at least if it was a musical ringing damnit. Hey MrHyde, maybe we could meet up and hang at the concert.
