I kind of thought the SR4 HH was the re-issue of the Sabre. Either way, lots of great new stuff this year.

So, how can you top all this for next year?

Is this the right thread to ask for a flamed 25th 4HSS maple neck in BFR Emerald Green? If not, then it would be okay if it were a 26th.

A Sabre reissue would be really cool. As we all know, they rarely show up on ebay and they're hard to find, so maybe there would be interest in the Sabre again. The Sterling 4HH is pretty close, but the Sabre had a cool look with the chrome control plate. I've owned 3 or 4 Sabres over the years, but didn't hold on to any of them - at the time I didn't know that they'd be discontinued! When the Sabre first came out, it had the contoured body and the Stingray did not - and that was my first attraction to it along with the slightly smaller body than the Stingray. Somebody mentioned a limited run of these. That would be a good way for BP to see what the interest really is. It seems like a good time since they are doing the Stingray reissues. If this happens, I hope to see natural, sunburst, walnut, white - although the current honey burst with a black p/g would look killer on a Sabre. I know the templates are in-house - BP: can I order one now?
