I was very lucky today. In the middle of a day of business, my rep, who makes the schedule and sets up visits says "you're all done". What? We're barely into the lunch hour. So following my own lunch, I decide to shoot one exit over to a GC before going home to bang on my laptop.

What's hanging on the wall? A red HH hot rod Al with trem. I've been to this store before and know that they did have a used Al SSS, so I scan the used guitars and yes....it's there. I get them both and set up to play.

I know I get way too detailed in my engineering analysis, so I'm going to depart and just say that both guitars are spectacular and that if you're considering one or the other.....you gotta play both. My result was that I don't have a guitar that can sound like the SSS and having a bunch of guitars with hums, I've got what I need for nice, dirty bridge sounds.

So go out and find one of each and play em both! I'm talkin' to YOU....go do it!

hahaha (oh....I even decided I don't need a trem!)

last Sturday I played 4 Balls. my sss al, GC's HH Al, JP6 and a Luke. It was like eating a 12 course meal with free cocktails. I can see why this Ball-game we play is so addictive. I need to play a Silo and a Axis to get my Webelo badge.

Well I am in the complete opposite boat as my herd is made up of mainly single coil axes, and that is why I have the pleasure of going hard into the EBMM world of axes. I have 4 at the moment but that will change big time in the next 2 years.
