Yeah man. I just happenstanced across that earlier and I started laughing. That guy is so hurtin' for cred in the guitar community it;s not funny. I also find it odd, that you can't visit his store....it's by appointment only. A guy I know works in the LV store, I'd love to get a candid interview with him, but they instructed to not say anything.

Well, if they were selling 10 a day in stock configuration I can't see him shifting 10 modified ones at that price.

What a tool! He adds a cheap asian trem to an OLP, gives it a fret job, and then has the audacity to claim the results are better than an EB/MM Axis? That two-bit troll has really fallen off the deep end of STUPID this time... Maybe he'll cross some Vegas guitar-lover cum wiseguy and they'll put the little bugger out of our misery. ;)

His M.O. always seems to be completely trashing someone else's product by slamming the hardware, wood and craftsmanship. Then he says, "But there's still hope." If you allow him to basically lay his hands on your guitar, he can make it into a real player. Someone needs to tell him that if a guitar is as crappy as he says it is, no set of new pickups or a fret job will make it any good.

It's a perfect example of his hyperinflated ego. He's convinced he can turn dog pooh into chocolate. The thing is, most of the time he starts with some form of chocolate and just convinces himself it's dog pooh.

He kind of scares me.

ok so for$ 250 for an OLP
and $650 for custom job
= $900.
why not just fork over another 50 bucks and get a MM axis on Ebay ?

  I cannot stand that guy. Nothing surpasses the axis. Especially not an OLP no matter what you do to it.

You guys are pretty harsh on this guy. I mean he does a lot of great work on these guitars that would otherwise be virtually useless. I do this all the time with other so-called “luxury items” that are basically just pieces of crap that people try to sell.

For instance, I was a Mercedes dealership, and this freak-o had the audacity to try and sell a Mercedes with NON SYNTHETIC OIL!! So I took their obviously inferior product and added half of a quart of synthetic oil to it, just to save this poor machine and add a justifiable seventeen thousand dollars to the asking price. Then I put in some fuel injection formula and informed the clerk that since I had modified his crap-car, he could now sell it for easily $25,000 more than the asking price.

Oh, and I also went to the Grand Canyon and planted a few roses around one of the trails and totally changed the whole look and feel of the park. I mean come on! Roses!! I told the park ranger that he should up the price of admission by at least $100 per person and that afterwards they would thank him for doing them a favor.

I am thinking of visiting the Seattle Art Museum later this month to "augment" their crap Van Gogh exhibit. I have a whole box of sharpies and a creative mind for art. Those lucky bastards are going to make a killing when I am done!

Now, you should go and re-read this post making sure to add the proper amount of sarcasm that it was written with.

Oh and Ed Roman... Doi.
