Ya know, if you ever get to many basses, and you want to get rid of that one, ill be more than happy to take it off your hands. :D. Nice bass.

lonnnng wait

I waited for 2 years or so to get my hands on a blue dawn that was right so when I bought this one I kept my fingers crossed and when she arrived it was more than I could have hoped for as she was totally mint with the plastic protection still on the pickguard! I doubt there's a better blue dawn ray anywhere (although I may be wrong) and that's the way she's gonna stay must say though she would look great in a really showy glam band?? I wasn't a fan of the sparkle finish initially but after seeing them in the wood so to speak its a totally different vibe as this finish is very hard to photograph due to the sparkle finish sending back false information to the cameras processor....But anyway I think she's a looker and Ernie ball will have a job beating this gorgeous finish...Nuff said
Dave.

Dave,

You are right about the Blue Dawn finish being difficult to photograph with a digicam. I just got a John Petrucci in Blue Dawn and it was extremely difficult to photograph

The best "sparkle" pics I got out of it were in "direct" setting sunlight coming through the window blinds.

The best color pic I got was on the headstock in "macro" setting

I hope your StingRay gives you many hours of enjoyment, both playing it and drooling over it :)

It's good to see you guitar guys come over to the dark side. And BRAVO to you for some nice photos. We all know how difficult it is to get a great shot.

Now I know why some people continue to ask for sparkles ; this one is really amazing, in particular with the clear pg. Bravo Dave !

That colour scheme is the reason I use stingrays. Fell in love with a fellow bassists one many years ago....

Nice.
