I played a non-EBMM guitar for a few minutes the other day, and I kept reaching for the underside of the headstock to tune the 1st and 2nd strings! Haha! Of course, all the tuning keys were on the top side.. but I thought back to how odd the 4+2 felt when I initially tuned my first EBMM. I guess it's become second nature!

So, how many of you have played a non-EBMM and instinctively reached for a tuning key that wasn't there?

I've done that, when l was playing my wolfgang, thought l was tuning the b string, but um, it was the g string (hehe, g string). would explain why l coulddn't tune that string.

nearly the samething happend to me two days ago.
i wanted to tune my les paul and after i had tuned the e and b sting my hand went to the upperside of the headstock but there was one tuning key missing...oh of course the g string is on the otherside of the headstock...

we should only play Balls for the rest of our lives.
