So I got a call the other day from a guy who wanted a dep for his band for a pub gig the following day - got a set list and it was almost all.................heavy rock covers
Now I've played my share of Cream and early 70s rock, and even some Chilli Peppers and RATM but the set list contained quite a lot of Metallica and AC/DC etc.
I turned up at the pub to find the venue has a PA which would work at a small festival!!! The gig went great (I listened to the songs and learned them well enough to get by!). I used the bass shown below - it is a real wolf in sheeps clothing - the sound I would describe as a good match for the first RATM album.
Haven't had so much fun playing in years and the SR5H is a killer rock bass. As I say, you rock guys have a lot of fun - those low notes brought a major smile to my face - and the audience's it seems.
