..... hey, you play guitar, how about playing us something?

What do you play assuming not too much alcohol has passed your lips?

Me , I play it safe and start with a "strummy" type number a Beatles song is always a safe bet .
Followed by a "picker" - Maybe Alices Restaurant or Blackbird (I know another Beatles song).
Then maybe another oldie like OH Well (Fleetwood Mac)
Detune to open A or E do a Sonny Landreth impersonation.
Finish off with Route 66

By which time I need more drinks!!!

What would your 5 numbers be ?

I always like to play Neil Young's "Sugar Mountain" in those situations.

..also, "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd...

and if you're talking about just playing (no singing), I like to play:

"The Killing Words" by Queensryche

"Summerland" by King's X

and..

"Diary of a Madman" by Ozzy.

yeah - I heard your playing on that clip you had available for download - great playing!
I was always wondering what you would play in such a situation on your lonesome.

My summer camp days are long behind me, so I usually steer clear of the folksy songs.

I like to start with some bluesy stuff - like stuff off of Tres Hombres ("Jesus Just Left Chicago" or "Waitin' For The Bus")

Then when I'm good and loaded I'll go for the gold (try some Morse stuff I can't possibly finish ... :D )
