Careful there, SK...ain't knockin the man's gear; only sayin' that if you're looking to buy one, there's quite the beauty on the auction block right now. :)

Norm's Axis is in this thread (with the previously departed Axis Sport, which left to make way for the Petrucci): http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1429

This is the only thread that I can find with his Axis on the forum...norm, would you care to post a few more of your pretty up here, or mail them to me, and I will?

In the meantime, here's a touched up version of the abovementioned photo (with the Axis Sport that has left Casa del Norm cropped out):

Dats bootyful, and not too far from here (actually closer to OC and SteveLINY a few of the other Long Islanders here). Too bad I'm going broke for Xmas this year...:(.....

Wonder if the headstock's painted like Norm's or not?

Q: Hi, does your Axis have a matching headstock, or natural?
A: It is a matching headstock...Thanks for the question. HAPPY HOLIDAY!"

Thanx Darrell...I saw that on a return visit to the page right after I posted, but didn't remember seeing it the first time.........

(Did you or someone else run that by him in the interim, or are my eyes just getting worse? If my peepers keep acting up at this rate, I'll be doing a Ray Charles before I'm fifty.... -----> )

I never even looked the first time either...I only gave a second look after you inquired, and lo and behold, there it was at the end of the auction. At least we weren't the only ones wondering, eh? :)

BTW Mr. G. -- been very busy this last week with that whole holiday sh*t, and have not had chance to be near a post office, so that is why you have not rec'd your picks yet. I should hope to have them out sometime in the next few, now that I have most of my sh*t taken care of now. :)

Thanks Darrell - I've been away from the board the last couple of days due to a combination of illness, business, and holiday madness too, so it's no problem. Appreciate the update!

Thanks Lew....it was a stubborn cold last week that mutated into a sinus infection this week. Never ceases to amaze me how much goo can accumulate in such small spaces of the human head, and what odd colors it turns <yeccch!> - but I'm feeling much better now!

At least it didn't hit during Christmas, which I'm ashamed to admit I'm still doing shopping for. Sure wish I could afford to just buy a batch of Super Sports like that for everyone and be done with it! ;)
