I am using a Zoom G1 as a practice tool, plugging headphones into the back, no amp involved, problem is I only hear sound through one ear, what could be causing this?

Thanks

Are you plugging the headphones in the bass output or through a dedicated "stereo" heaphone output? if it is thorugh the bass output jack that is supposed to connect to the amp then that is the deal, it's a mono output which explains why you can hear it on one side only.

It is labeled "Output / phones", this item was designed (I thought) so I could plug headphones in and play quietly.

I just tested the headphones on my computer and only the one ear works, should have tried that from start.

Thanks for help
