Hi my Musicman Stingray 3 EQ (natural ash finish) has serial number 4210 on the tailpiece. Can you give me any information please.
Rob

The serial numbers on the bridge are generally 5 digits, is there any chance there could be additional numbers?

Hi all. I love my stingray bass. Always wanted to know more about her DOB. Know it's somewhere in the 70's...Might be hard as it's a B serial : B010962. Has a pair of dual G&L humbucker style adjustable pole pickups, and crazy EQ setup. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

You are dead right there is a 4 hiding behind a bridge spring! It is therefore 44120. The guitar has been used rarely and is practically unmarked - is it worth much? I bought it many years ago for £600.

Unfortunately our serial number database didn't come around until after Ernie Ball took over in the 1980's. There were no production records passed on for the pre Ernie Ball instruments. There is generally a date stamp in the neck pocket or pickup cavity that will give you an idea of the production date. There is also a great reference website where you can compare the serial numbers to others, http://musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0052.htm.

Hello I have a JP6, bought it second hand, I would like to know all details about it, better if you know fret material. Its serial is G35014. Thanks in advance

This JP6 was completed on December 28th, 2006. The color is black with the Rosewood fretboard, JP inlays & matching headstock. It has nickel frets. It was originally shipped to Jam Industries.

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on January 11th, 1995. The color is White with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things. We don't offer appraisals on used instruments through the factory, but it would have sold for more than that new.

Hi, i would like to know the details of my StingRay 4: Serial no. E38296.

Thank you in advance!

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on November 18th, 2003. The color is Candy Red with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Syncro Srl.

Lefty Fretless S/N L458

Hello, I recently bought this beauty used and would love to know its story. The serial number is L00458. Apologies for the dodgy photo quality, it looks a bit orange in the full-length photo, and the close up has a couple of odd reflections on the upper half of the body. In real life the finish is gorgeous. Also, is the fingerboard what is known as Pau Ferro? Thanks very much!
