Hi.. I'm looking at possibly buying an SR5 but just need to check it out. It's graphite grey metallic with matching headstock & a sort of wood effect grey scratchplate. The serial number is stamped on the neckplate (E48658). Ive checked this out the best i can and came up with 2005. Ive read that neckplate numbers only started 2008. The seller says the bass is 2010.
Hope some one can shed a bit of light on this for me.
Thanks

Hi - I've been playing the same EB Stingray 4 for 25 years. I bought it new (Carlsboro Music, Norwich) in either 1990 or 91. Serial Number 28828. What's the DOM though? The s/n seems to overlap with some basses built as early as 89, but mine is a 6 bolt neck plate. Thanks == John.

Any ideas on the date of production and or any other details?

Also, any suggestions as to how to get a general idea of it's worth?

Thanks!

Thank-you - the bass I have in hand has a Rosewood Fretboard, matching headstock and 3-band no Piezo..I am guessing it may have been swapped at some point.. :( Still seems like a very nice bass - and looks lovely)

Hey there! Could you please help me out with details of Bongo 5 #F10145? It's an HH with piezo. The seller called it "stealth", but it's not matte black and does not have black hardware. It's kind of a dark grey sparkle/metallic, with matching headstock, which i think is normal on Bongos. Please tell me the actual color, body wood, neck wood, date, and any other details you have. Thanks!
