Wanted to first off say thanks to Ernie Ball. They gave me strings when I was touring and they were really all I used for most of my career. These guys took care of their artists and I am sure they still do.

I was working to get a custom Sterling built too, and the artist rep was very good to me. These guys have a lot of basses being built for pros. It was not point and click - here is your bass, there was backorder, which is always good for business.

Recently played a Caprice and was blown away by it. In my opinion, this bass could become a new classic. It is the go to P/J bass for me and I intend to buy one and use it as my main player (I do session work now but am putting together a new live project).

My question is if there are any new color options coming out soon. I don't necessarily need a custom job, but the color options are pretty limited now. My favorite would be the burst. Only reason I ask is I have seen so many cool stingray PJs that I would hate to miss out on something.

Anyone who has not tried this bass needs to get on it. These things are fantastic!

No idea... but NAMM is in a couple weeks... if anything new color wise, may be announced there
