There is a pic of Steve with the prototype of the 30th Anniversary model on his Facebook page.

It is a two humbucker model. Looks like it has a bound neck!

That's sweet! Looks to me that's the same guitar body that Scott Ball posted on the unofficial Music Man Guitars Facebook group a few days back (someone re-posted it on page 2 of this thread).

I've wondered for years why Steve didn't have #2. BP was just waiting for the right moment. Very cool. Thanks for posting!

Also means Kevin now knows why he's never been able to track down #2 all this time! :p

It hasn't been a secret that Big Poppa has #2 - and I even (jokingly?) offered to buy it, but of course he wasn't interested Inc selling...

I have #4 (amongst others) and would very much like to find #3, if anybody has any clues?

Hmmm. On Pete's site here these "one-offs" say "Only available to order during the 2017 NAMM Show". Meaning I don't think they are one-offs, I think they are a limited run available to dealers who order it during the show. Pete, am I right? Meaning there will be more than one but you need to get your order in to Pete by end-of-day Sunday. Yes?

Correct, but they aren't one-offs. Dealers are only able to order these at the show. We ordered some extras that will remain on our website after the show ends.

The jp AND the Valentine? Holy &$@! I picture Pete dropping the mic after saying that lol. SBMM are playing for keeps!!

Yes, definitely playing for keeps. They are actively making these guitars as close to the USA version as possible.

EDIT: Production for most of the SBMM has moved to Korea, the SUB line remains in China.

So that's the 30th Anniversary Version in Y2D style... With middle pickup missing and neck binding added in return... Very interesting  Btw, that top is simply amazing and awesome (while all EBMM guitars are amazing, aren't they? :))~
