It's time for me to post my final and ultimate AL
Out of all the variations I have now, this guy is still the Lord Master of them all...

As much as I do really love the Starry Night finish, the reason I jumped on these as soon as they were announced was due to the maple neck. I've been wanting an HHAL with a maple neck for some time.
Then to my delight, not only just a maple neck, but a ROASTED MAPLE neck!!! But wait, there's more!!
An Ebony fretboard AND SS frets!!!!
For me, imho, this is the ultimate neck combination. I've been toying with the idea of selling off some other stuff and collecting up a couple more of these because they are so perfect for me....

I own the exact same one and it is a fabulous guitar.
My only hope is that it will get even better with time jus as my PDN 2014 SSS Neptune Blue : it was a great instrument when I got it. It is now unreal!

Chris, what's the color? What made you go with the gold? You have any pictures of the back of the neck?

What every you'd like to share. What's it like working with MM and being an artist?

I love the fact you have the non-matching head stock and the smaller fret markers!!!

the color is called ocean aqua sparkle. i got my first custom a in 2013 or 2014 I believe, it was a JP12 7 string with pretty much the exact same color scheme. I wanted to keep this one as close to that one as possible.
This AL came with gold tuning pegs too, but I swapped them out for the pearloid ones from my BFR.
Working with them is great! I got to go to the factory while this one was being made and got to see the pieces laying around waiting for one last part before assembly. I at first requested a Valentine with the same configuration but being as it's still a pretty new signature model, they don't like to do many customs just yet.
I then ordered the AL and honestly, it was supposed to have a trem! but upon seeing it at the factory and realizing i don't have a single hardtail guitar, I wasn't upset by any means. (And now that I have it, I prefer it right now)
I also ordered a rosewood fretboard and I think this has smokey ebony on it. Again, not mad at all. It's always a nice surprise to get something a little different.
and this guitar sounds GOOD. it's loud and has so much life to it.
