Hi guys! This is my first post here and I would really appreciate a bit of advice. I'm looking to buy a EBMM and have found a mint 2007 JP6 limited edition blue dawn (piezo) with original case. What do these sell for now?

The seller is asking $1800. What would you offer? Thank!

Price seems reasonable for an instrument in mint condition. Bear in mind that in case you are situated outside the USA, you will need to pay custom fees (import taxes) in order to release the guitar from customs.

Thanks. No shipping involved. How much value does the 'limited edition' add?

The only difference between it and the regular JP6 seems to be the 2007 LE inlay at the 12th fret and the limited edition case, and of course the stunning dawn blue color.

No idea as to how many pieces of the Blue Dawn JP were made, but given that the original price would be something between 2600-2800, and this guitar is in mint condition in addition to being a limited edition instrument I'd say go for it. You can always negotiate for a lower price.

Ok, yes I guess $1800 is fair. Thanks.

Sounds like a fair price to me, especially for an LE, but I'll trot out the trite old, "it's only worth what it's worth to you." :)

I recently paid a little more than I probably should have for a guitar because it was an exact duplicate of my teenage dream guitar, and in years of searching, it was my first (and possibly last) chance to pick up one in great condition. If the price is close, and the guitar is speaking to you in some way, get it. Every single guitar-buying regret I have is related to passing on something that I wish I'd snapped up.
