Why is it that major retailers have so few sterlings? Sweetwater has everything but sterlings. Bass central has no sterling 5's. What's going on? I was hoping to pull the trigger on a Sterling 5 but it seems like they aren't readily available. Please tell me they aren't being phased out.

SBMM web site is down, at least this morning in the U.S.

EDIT: 10:20 Eastern U.S. time: just checked again and it's up.

No inventory means one of two things. They sell like hot cakes so can't keep them in stock, or they do not sell, so they do not order because they do not want to have them in inventory.

No idea which is the case... but... the Sterling HS 5 was discontinued. Would not have been if it was a big seller.

So odd. The HS config seems to be so popular here
regardless of which model it's on. Must be all those
cretins shopping at GC .....
