One benefit of the DiMarzio pickups being removed is that now the Luke hits a more affordable price point. It has dropped from a street price of $869 to $649 on the Luke Blue and to $699 on the Hazel Burst.

Easy to upgrade to a set of the transitions I would suspect - they even have the v-shaped pickup mounting holes, which should fit the DiMarzio's perfectly.

i just saw this

Sterling by Music Man Luke Flame Maple Electric Guitar Hazel Burst | Musician's Friend

really beautyfull, but it seems that it will no longer have the Di marzio transition pick ups :(

I just signed on as a Sterling by Music Man dealer. I already placed my initial order but can add one of the Luke’s to it if you are interested in getting one.

Email me at, [email protected]

I’m going to be running some nice grand opening sales this month and next month.
Thanks,
Jay
