Okay I see that the AmazonBasics 9V's I can buy a bunch of them for super cheap. I can get an 8 pack for $9.50 and I was wondering if anybody has ever used them in a JP Music Man? According to one review these did not work in a Carvin bass. Checking here if anybody has had any luck before I purchase an 8 pack. Apparently they are a very very tiny bit taller than a Duracel so maybe that's red flag right there.

I highly recommend the Energizer Industrial Strength 9v’s. They seem to genuinely last longer than any others I’ve tried. I have never tried these amazon ones though.

I use AmazonBasics regular and rechargeable batteries for all my electronics (guitars, guitar pedals, mini amps, clocks, smoke alarms, flashlights, etc.). I find they work just as good, if not better then all the other major brand batteries. The AmazonBasics prices are excellent for the quality and quantity you get, so it's a win-win! :)

Never use rechargeable batteries on a EBMM active guitar; I think it even says not to do it in the manual. Rechargeable batteries do not provide charge the same way as a regular battery and this can result in electronics problems.

*BUT* have you ever used it on an EBMM JP?
